Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Finance from Kent State University in 2007, and accepted a position with RTI International Metals, Inc. While there, she discovered her passion for human resources and went on to earn her Master’s degree in HR before obtaining her PHR certification. Throughout her eight years at RTI, Jess served as a Talent Management Analyst, HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist, and finally Manager of HR Operations.

 

In early 2016, Jess decided to pursue the “work from home” Mom life and began supporting small businesses as an administrative and human resources consultant. Over time, she became more involved in the people side of Studio SMC, and well… here we are!

 

If Jess is not working, she’s volunteering at one of her son’s activities, or coaching from the stands. Nothing brings her more joy than watching her son pursue his various passions in life. After a long day, you can find her curled up on the couch binging her kindle library.
